This sacred pilgrimage covers some of the most important spiritual temples connected with Lord Rama, Lord Narasimha, and Lord Vishnu avatars in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The journey begins at the peaceful ISKCON Temple Vijayawada dedicated to Radha Krishna and the teachings of Bhakti Yoga. Nearby stands the powerful Kanaka Durga Temple located on Indrakeeladri Hill, where Goddess Durga is believed to have destroyed the demon Mahishasura.
At Panakala Narasimha Swamy Temple in Mangalagiri, Lord Narasimha is worshipped with the unique offering of jaggery water (Panakam), a tradition followed for centuries. The pilgrimage continues to the sacred town of Sri Sita Ramachandra Swamy Temple on the banks of the Godavari River, closely connected with the Ramayana, where Lord Rama is believed to have stayed during his exile.
Nearby Parnasala is believed to be the forest dwelling place of Lord Rama, Sita, and Lakshmana, and the place where Ravana abducted Sita. The journey continues to the famous Satyanarayana Swamy Temple located on Ratnagiri Hill, where devotees perform the sacred Satyanarayana Vratham for prosperity and blessings.
Pilgrims also visit Bhimeswara Swamy Temple Samalkot, one of the ancient Pancharama temples of Lord Shiva built during the Eastern Chalukya period. Another rare temple in this journey is Sri Kurmanatha Swamy Temple, the only temple in the world dedicated to the Kurma (tortoise) avatar of Lord Vishnu.
The pilgrimage concludes with darshan at the famous hill shrine of Simhachalam Temple dedicated to Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy, where the deity combines the Varaha and Narasimha forms of Lord Vishnu. Together, these temples represent a powerful spiritual journey through Ramayana heritage, Narasimha kshetras, and ancient South Indian temple traditions, making the pilgrimage deeply sacred and spiritually fulfilling.
